JOB DESCRIPTION:

+ Ensures safe and efficient operation of University Centrifugal Chillers (up to 2000 tons) and other equipment associated with the chiller plants in accordance with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and standards.
+ Monitors, operates, and troubleshoots the chiller management system that controls the chilled water equipment serving the campus.
+ Monitors and maintains cooling tower water treatment controllers and associated equipment.
+ Maintains and records entries in logbooks, operating logs, and regulatory reports.
