Opportunity Description
The Student Events & Activities Coordinator is a vital staff member within the Student Involvement and Leadership Development unit, part of the broader Student Engagement team. The Coordinator supports the planning and implementation of campus programs and events that enhance the student experience and promote engagement. This position coordinates a variety of initiatives including large-scale events, pop-up programs, off-campus excursions, and collaborative activities.
The Coordinator manages event logistics including scheduling, vendor coordination, contracting, purchasing, marketing, and transportation, while working with campus partners to ensure programs are implemented safely and in accordance with University policies. The Coordinator also assists with program assessment and serves as an advisor to a subset of Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs), providing guidance on event planning, budgeting, and organizational compliance.
