Job Description
The Finance Executive Director will be a strategic thought-partner, is hands-on, and will play a critical role in partnering with CFO in strategic decision making and operations of the agency. This position is responsible for the accounting operations of the agency, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the agency’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. The Finance Executive Director supervises the finance staff, establishes/updates the accounting and finance policies and procedures, establishes and maintains budgets, credit, and cash flow.
