Opportunity Description
Purpose and main tasks
- 1. Handle and supervise the accurate and timely movement of ocean freight to- and from specific locations within the service standards agreed with the Customer
- 2. Handle and supervise all Vendor facing communication and shipment related internal communication between DSV stakeholders
- 3. Supervise the execution of country specific customs clearance processes
- 4. Supervise multimodal FCL, LCL pre/on‑carriage services (Hinterland Transportation) by truck, rail or barge
- 5. Create solutions‑and pricing for FCL, LCL ocean freight Hinterland Transportation services for internal Ocean Operations, Trade and Sales Teams
- 6. Participate in ad‑hoc projects related to business process improvement (Internal and External)
- 7. Take on additional tasks (e.g. create / update ISO procedures) during department performance review and/or annual scheduled events (e.g. audits) as assigned by superiors
