External Sales Consultant

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking an External Sales Consultant for our client in Durban. Requirements Shipping experience with minimum 6 years in shipping or similar environment. Sales experience at least 2 years in ships agency sales. Education, tertiary qualification in maritime studies/import/export advantageous. Interpersonal skills, must be able to handle difficult clients and portray a corporate image. Teamwork is crucial, must be a team player. Computer literacy requirements e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email. Work under pressure, with minimal supervision. Admin work with high degree of accuracy. Valid Drivers license. Time management, strong planning and organizing skills is a crucial requirement. Duties Minimum of 8 client visits per week. New business development, identify and secure new clients.
