Facilities Maintenance Worker (26:074) Relief

Term of App't: Relief on call, maximum of 7hrs per day, 7 days a week

Reporting to: Manager of Facilities

Salary

Classification 12, $29.26/hour , as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees are provided an additional $0.58/hour in lieu of benefits, and 6% vacation pay for all regular hours worked.

Description

The successful candidate will provide general facilities maintenance of college buildings, grounds, and equipment; with the expectation to operate and maintain all tools and equipment related to these functions. Duties will include painting and prep, lifting and moving items, deliveries, carpentry duties, snow removal and or grass cutting with appropriate equipment, operating and maintaining service vehicles, etc. This position may assist with the demolition and renovations to various areas on our campuses.
