Facility Manager

The Role

As a Facility Manager, you’ll be responsible to the Group Leader for all QinetiQ facilities at Shoeburyness (Environmental Test Centre) liaising with key personnel to ensure the safe, secure and efficient delivery of company operations. Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our facilities making sure all facilities have suitable and sufficient safe systems of work to cover ongoing activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring proper governance, working to and abide by our legal obligations and Operating Framework

Responsible for ensuring the safe operation to cover testing activities

Holding the teams to the highest housekeeping standards using 5S or similar approach

Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities with all buildings, plant and equipment available on demand in line with planned work programmes
