Opportunity Description
**Purpose and Scope:**
The Facility Planner/Space Utilization Coordinator will act as the on-site Directorate Facility Utilization Manager (DFUM) responsible for representing, coordinating, and managing organizational interests in space utilization in accordance with KNPR 8830.1, _Facility Asset Management Procedural Requirements_ .
**Job Duties and Essential Responsibilities:**
**Operations:**
+ Track facility space utilization and personnel moves in FSMS and SSMT.
+ Manage space requests in FSMS from request through space assignment accurately identifying the date of request, customer/requestor, class of space, square footage, justification, need date and close date of request as directed by the FUO.
+ Serve as the point of contact for initiating and monitoring room placard requests related to facility modifications, ensuring requests are processed and completed in a timely manner.
