Northern Health is seeking a Family Practitioner to provide OAT and primary care services in Hazelton, BC. This position is 0.5 FTE, approximately hours per year.
Responsibilities
- Have an understanding and familiarity with OAT in rural and remote settings.
- See 20 patients per month for maintenance OAT care, initiations, and inpatient consultations for OAT therapy as necessary.
- Maintain a minimum panel of 325 patients.
- Not required to be MRP for hospitalized patients.
- Not required to do on-call or emergency duties.
Team and Work Environment
The Wrinch Medical Staff provides full-scope care to the region, consisting of 10-12 Family Physicians, 1 GP-Anesthetist, 2 Nurse Practitioners, and 3 Registered Midwives, operating under a collaborative model of care.
