Position: Farm Manager
Salary: R40-45K per month (NB CTC) and Housing allowance
Location: Wellington - Western Cape
Our client is in the Chemical Industry and has a research farm in Wellington. They have a vacancy for a farm manager to start ASAP.
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years’ experience in the agricultural crop protection industry
- Experience in supervising employees
EDUCATION
- Diploma, or BSc degree in agronomy, plant pathology, entomology or closely aligned field
- AVCASA preferred
SKILLS
- Good understanding of crops, pests, and diseases in the Western Cape.
- Substantial knowledge of business and technical aspects of the product areas and technology.
- Good understanding of conducting trials.
- Understanding of GAP.
