Federal Work Study-Pathology Research Assistant (Long Term)

Job Summary:
The department is actively seeking students with immediate availability to work on ongoing cancer research projects. The student will assist in conducting translational and clinical cancer research in collaboration with other clinical departments (hematology-oncology, urology, radiology) and disciplines (computer science, bioinformatics, epidemiology). Current projects include but are not limited to Digital tissue biomarker assessment for improved management of high-risk prostate cancer and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients using image analysis and computer vision methods. The projects are highly collaborative and require assembling retrospective research cohorts of SUNY Upstate patients.
