Feedlot Manager Upington

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• The profitable management of a sheep feedlot with a capacity of 8,000 animals
• Stock control that includes both livestock and means of production
• Coordination of personnel
• Compliance with the necessary health and safety regulations

Qualifications

The incumbent should therefore meet the following requirements:

Strong service mindset

Thorough knowledge of feedlot practices

Extensive knowledge of animal health & animal production

The ability to work independently

Good communication and negotiation skills

Computer skills
