Female Personal Care Assistant

This role supports an autistic individual with high sensitivity to noise and strong communication needs. The carer will assist with daily living tasks, transportation and emotional advocacy, ensuring the client can participate in social and leisure activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as toileting, bathing, dressing and bed transfers.
• Help with cooking, meal preparation and mealtimes.
• Administer medications as required.
• Support with household chores, cleaning, laundry and general homemaking.
• Accompany the client to medical appointments and other scheduled events.
• Help with grocery shopping and food management.
• Provide transport or travel support to work, school, social activities and leisure events, including driving where necessary.
