**Fiber Engineer**



**Job Description:**



The Fiber Engineer would be responsible for working with the team in executing the following work:



·Designers will be applying fiber optic knowledge and principles to assess and design distribution areas serving utility, residential, commercial, and municipal customers



·Design fiber optic networks (backbone, distribution, FTTH/FTTx) for utility and telecom clients.



·Develop Bill of Materials (BOM), routing plans, splice diagrams, and network topology.



·Perform high-level and detailed design for complex utility communication networks



·Assess required networking components and develop complete engineering packages (drawings, layouts, schematics)



·Apply fiber optic principles to optimize signal performance, routing, and redundancy
