Job Summary
The Field Engineer is responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of diesel generators and associated fuel systems at project sites. The role involves coordinating installation works, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and supporting system commissioning to ensure reliable generator operation. Key Responsibilities Supervise and carry out installation of diesel generator sets, base frames, exhaust systems, and associated accessories at project sites. Oversee installation of fuel systems including diesel storage tanks, fuel transfer pumps, piping, valves, and filtration systems. Coordinate with contractors, fabricators, and electricians to ensure proper installation of mechanical and electrical components. Review technical drawings, P&ID diagrams, and installation layouts to ensure works are carried out according to project specifications.
