The Generator Field Services Engineer provides field engineering oversight on all types of generator work.
The successful candidate performs inspection, testing, communicates with customers both internal and external, and provides crew supervision.
How You'll Make An Impact
Conduct electrical and mechanical specialty testing (low and high voltage) as required; perform visual inspections and collaborate with engineering to provide recommendations to the customer about potential unit repairs.
Prepare and forward accurate reports concerning the condition and repairs and recommendations for customer equipment.
Ensure all work is performed per approved processes and procedures while maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality.
Supervise technicians working on generator equipment during power plant maintenance shutdowns (outages), both planned and unplanned system outages caused by equipment performance issues.
