Field Service Superintendent - Energy Power Plant

Wärtsilä is an innovative technology company known for being a forerunner in the Marine and Energy markets. The role of Field Service Superintendent – (Energy) focuses on leading and executing complex mechanical field service activities at customer power plants.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute major mechanical overhauls, including full engine disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of 4‑stroke reciprocating engines and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform complex and advanced troubleshooting of mechanical and operational issues at customer power plants, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Act as Superintendent for complex service projects, leading on‑site execution and coordinating Service Engineers, Technicians, and other field resources.
• Serve as the main technical point of contact for customers during service execution, leading technical discussions and managing expectations.
