Opportunity Description
Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical & Environmental Sciences Consultants has immediate openings for a Soils and Materials Field Technician in Salt Lake City, Utah. The successful candidate will collect soils, asphalt or concrete samples in the field, perform standard tests, complete reports of findings, upload project documents online and communicate with the project manager. Will also provide assistance with special projects, as needed.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have soils field testing experience and a current radiation user safety certificate. The successful candidate will have knowledge regarding the standard test methods for field density testing of soil utility backfill, mass grading, paving subgrade, proof-rolling observation experience, asphalt production and density testing as well as field concrete sampling and testing.
