Finance Associate Project Finance

Summary

The Financial Associate, Project Finance, conducts financial analysis to evaluate, structure, and finance the Company’s utility-scale wind, solar, and other renewable energy projects across Canada.

This role will be hybrid requiring a minimum of three days in office.

Responsibilities

• Supports financial analysis, investment appraisal, economic evaluation, and risk assessment of wind, solar, storage, and other renewable energy project opportunities.
• This includes the impact of Clean Technology ITC eligibility, refundability, and labour-requirement compliance on project returns.
• Builds, maintains, and operates financial models used to evaluate project development opportunities, transactions, and financing structures.
• Assists developers in screening and evaluating potential projects and supports preparation of financial analysis for PPA bids and other offtake structures.
