Finance Officer (General Accounting)

Job Summary:

The General Accounting Officer is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, overseeing accounts payable processes and reconciliation of accounts, and ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings. The role supports budgeting, forecasting, and internal and regulatory compliance processes, including taxation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the general ledger, including preparation and posting of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules.
