Opportunity Description
This role involves:
- Managing the full financial accounting function, including general ledger integrity and reconciliations
- Leading month-end processes and producing accurate financial reporting packs
- Overseeing end-to-end payroll from onboarding to compliance and reporting
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and manage depreciation, CAPEX, and asset tracking
- Overseeing accounts payable & receivable and ensuring smooth cash flow management
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS, VAT, and SARS regulations
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
- Preparing audit files and supporting schedules
Skills & Experience:
- 58 years' experience in a financial accounting environment
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or multi-entity environments
- Exposure to ERP systems (SYSPRO, SAGE300 - advantageous)
