Financial Accountant

This well-established business operates within a specialised manufacturing environment, supplying essential products and services to commercial and industrial customers across Southern Africa. Reporting to the Financial Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the month-end and year-end reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process monthly journals
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable controls
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Assist with statutory and tax compliance requirements
• Maintain the fixed asset register and process asset transactions
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
