About the Role
A leading sugar manufacturing operation (Sugar Factory) in Uganda is seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounts Manager to oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting and financial functions for the Sugar Factory. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, effective cost control, and providing strong financial insights to support strategic decision-making at senior management level.
*Important to note that preference will be given to Indian Nationals / Citizens with experience working in Africa
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in line with accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, NSSF, Income Tax, etc.)...
