**35% - Budget Analysis:** Work with Budget Officers in the various schools/units on campus to balance allocations to control totals. Review budgets to verify that allocations of new funds (including, but not limited to, merit) are in accordance with Provost Office guidelines. Provide guidance to departmental budget representatives to resolve issues pertaining to budget preparation and maintenance. Consult with university staff on budgeting, accounting, payroll fringes and management problems using discretion and judgment to recommend and implement procedures. Organize financial data for budget requests and appeals to the Board of Regents.
