Overview
The Financial Resources Specialist is responsible for is accountable for assisting Loretto and the Commons customers with applying for government entitlement benefits (Medicare, Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Veterans Administration (VA) benefits).
Responsibilities
Job duties specific to this position:
+ Responsible for assisting residents/family members in securing government entitlement benefits (ie. Veterans Benefits, Medicaid, SSI, etc.).
+ Completes the timely filing of Medicaid, Medicare, and SSI, VA applications on behalf of Loretto / The Commons customers referred to or identified by the Finance Department.
+ Tracks pending applications to ensure application due dates/deadlines are met for compliance. Notifies Financial Resources Manager of any identified barriers in securing eligibility
+ Conducts monthly aging review to identify residents who may need help with securing...
