Finishing Technician I

**Job Description Summary**
Perform a variety of tasks in the finishing process of the blade.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

+ Grinding blade to work instruction specifications.
+ Grind between quality marks and apply gelcoat to designated locations.
+ Matting to give blades a clean finish.
+ Painting and Sanding
+ Apply tape to edge of blade to avoid overspray of gel coat.
+ Apply auto mask to the shell of the blade.
+ Apply filler/mud to the lead edge of the blade, then scrape of excess so all voids are filled.
+ Turn the blade utilizing machine.
+ Wear designated personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety guidelines.
+ Maintain 5s standards.

**Required Qualifications**

+ Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.
+ Ability to push/pull heavy objects.
+ Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
