Job Description

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Fire Alarm Technician ensures inspection, maintenance, and emergency service of fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspection, service and troubleshooting of existing fire alarm systems;
• Performing upgrades, repairs, additions or improvements to systems following inspection;
• Preparation of inspection, and deficiencies reports in a timely manner;
• Respond to emergency calls during evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis.

Success Factors

• Diploma in Fire Protection Technology/Technologist;
• Valid CFAA certification (an asset);
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in service and inspection of fire alarm systems;
• Knowledge and/or experience with Notifier products/panels (strong asset);
