About the Role
We're looking for skilled Fitters to join our Facilities team in the Wellington District within our Infrastructure and Investment Group (IIG). In this hands‑on role, you'll carry out mechanical repairs, maintenance, and upgrades on boilers, HVAC systems, and other essential plant and equipment that keep our hospital running smoothly. You'll be part of a team that ensures our sites are safe, reliable, and ready to deliver quality healthcare to the community. This practical role involves fixing urgent issues, planning preventative maintenance, and taking part in the after‑hours on‑call roster.
Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical repairs, maintenance, and upgrades on boilers, HVAC systems, and other essential plant and equipment.
