Fitter / Welder

We’re looking for a solid Fitter Welder with heavy transport experience to join our Wellington workshop. If you’re confident working on truck bodies, trailers, chassis, structural repairs and general heavy gear, you’ll slot in well here.
What you’ll be doing

• Chassis repairs, strengthening, extensions and modifications
• Trailer repairs, rebuilds and fabrication
• MIG / Stick / FCAW welding
• General fitting, fabrication and workshop engineering on transport equipment

We’re also very interested if you have…

• Heavy diesel mechanic experience — servicing, repairs, diagnostics on trucks or trailers
• Ability to switch between fabrication and mechanical work when needed
• Strong understanding of how heavy transport equipment works end‑to‑end
