Fixed Term Coordinator Opportunity

Overview

At Hospice West Auckland, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional specialist palliative care services to our patients, their families, and caregivers. As an extension to our Korowai Care service, Hospice West Auckland has recently established a 24/7 ‘home from home’ service called He Whare Korowai. This service enables short-term 24-hour care for patients, in a homely environment for approximately 4-7 days, based at Hospice House in Te Atatū Peninsula.

The He Whare Korowai Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily running of He Whare Korowai – Home from Home at our Beach Road site, supporting both our teams and the patient and whānau experience.

This is a full time, fixed term role working Tuesday – Saturday from 10am – 6:30pm. To start June 2026 for approximately 6 months.
