Duties
The member is responsible for:
1. Providing support for a variety of airborne law enforcement operational activities, such as, but not limited to; flying aircraft for reconnaissance / surveillance, integrated cross-border law enforcement operations, tracking criminals, rescuing and evacuating injured persons; and
2. Assisting with prisoner and deportation escorts , detention of prisoners before or after flights, and transportation of exhibits and other hazardous materials in accordance with the Transport Canada issued Equivalency Certificate.
Work environment
This position may require:
- frequent travel by air and vehicle, including at varied hours of the day and night
- extensive travel, both foreign and domestic
