The Fleet Energy Manager is the functional leader of bp Shippings energy efficiency and vessel performance optimisation team. The role is accountable for setting strategic direction, building sustainable capability, and ensuring the consistent delivery of measurable commercial and emissions value across bps operated and time-chartered fleet.

Sitting within the Shipping Optimisation organisation, the Fleet Energy Manager provides leadership across vessel energy efficiency, performance analytics, optimisation tooling, and emissions-related value delivery. The role translates strategic intent into clear, executable priorities, ensures strong cross-functional engagement with Chartering, Operations, Digital, and Claims, and embeds optimisation as a repeatable, system-driven operating rigor, rather than ad-hoc intervention.
