**JOB SUMMARY**
This position is part of a developmental program (D/P) for a qualified mechanic at a Georgia Power Fleet Service Facility. This is a maximum 4-year apprenticeship program. The length of time to complete the program is based on the candidate's current skill level, knowledge, experience and abilities regarding the maintenance of light duty and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
This position requires availability and accessibility in times of emergency, including storm duty which may require working evenings, nights, weekends, holidays and out of state travel. A candidate must live within a 1-hour commute of the designated...
