Fleet Operations Manager: Dispatch & Optimization

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign daily vehicle schedules based on shipment volume and route needs.
• Monitor vehicle departure, arrival, and trip completion status.
• Supervise dispatch coordinators and drivers.
• Ensure compliance with SOP and operational timelines.
• Handle operational exceptions such as delays, breakdowns, and no-show drivers.
• Provide quick solutions to minimize operational disruptions.
• Liaise with gateway operations team and fleet partners.
• Ensure smooth coordination between dispatch, gateway, and transportation teams.
• Resolve issues related to loading, unloading, and vehicle movement.
• Track key KPIs such as on-time delivery, utilization rate, and trip completion rate.
