Food Services Class 1 Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor/trailer safely and proficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Use MHE to unload trailers.
• Take responsibility for equipment and products in your care.
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper operating condition, fuel status, and readiness for dispatch.
• Secure each vehicle and ensure refrigeration units are operating when loading shift is completed.
• Connect, stage, and secure all vehicles daily in accordance with the route load schedule.
• Complete required paperwork and perform daily inspections of the equipment.
• Work safely and comply with Health and Safety rules; report injuries or incidents promptly.
• Maintain high security for equipment and staging finish area.
• Ensure compliance with DOT rules, company policies, and regulations.
