Gibson Arnold & Associates is seeking an attorney with 5+ years of experience to join a firm in New York, NY as a Foreclosure Associate. The ideal candidate for this position will be expected to:
Manage residential and/or commercial foreclosure matters from referral through final disposition, including judgment and sale;Draft, review, and file foreclosure pleadings, motions, affidavits, notices, judgments, and related litigation documents;Appear in court for hearings, motions, mediations, and conferences, as required by jurisdiction;Advise clients on state-specific foreclosure laws, loss mitigation requirements, bankruptcy impacts, and regulatory considerations;Handle contested foreclosure matters, including responses to borrower defenses, motions to dismiss, and discovery;Coordinate with clients, title companies, trustees, referees, sheriffs, and opposing counsel to ensure timely resolution of matters;...
