Forklift technician (field service specialist)

An experienced FORKLIFT TECHNICIAN (Field Service Specialist) is required to service various industry customers across the Northern Cape Upington region.

Responsibilities & Qualifications The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, breakdown repairs and inspection of forklift equipment and related machinery at customer sites and within workshop environments. Grade 12 (Matric). Qualified Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic, Auto Electrician, Millwright, Earthmoving Mechanic or similar technical trade. Min. 3 years post-trade experience in forklift maintenance and repairs. Previous experience working on various material handling type equipment adv. Experience with major forklift brands adv. Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding ability. Knowledge of engines, transmissions, drive systems, mast assemblies, braking systems and steering systems.
