Formwork Carpenter

We're looking for an experienced Formwork Carpenter with a strong background in civil construction to join a busy team in Matamata. You'll be working on civil concrete structures and infrastructure projects, building and installing formwork to a high standard.

Location: Matamata

Start date: Immediate start

Pay rate: $30–$34 per hour, depending on experience. Weekly pay.

What you'll be doing

• Build, install and remove formwork for civil concrete projects
• Read and follow plans, drawings and site instructions
• Measure, cut and assemble timber and plywood formwork
• Help prepare formwork for concrete pours
• Work alongside civil construction crews to deliver projects safely and efficiently
• Use hand and power tools safely and correctly
• Follow all health and safety requirements
