Freelance Flute Music Instructor [IEC]

UWCSEA Dover seeks qualified candidates for the position of Music Instructor - FLUTE (IEC) to start August 2026.

This candidate reports directly to the ITP Coordinator on Dover Campus and will deliver individual and paired instrumental lessons in the Instrumental Teaching Programme (ITP). Opportunities may also arise to support ensemble activities and introductory lesson programmes.

• Strong ability in delivering instrumental lessons to students of all abilities and ages.
• Provide highest teaching standards – planning and preparing lessons in relation to individual students’ needs and examination syllabuses.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and awareness of examination requirements.
• Liaise with parents, the ITP Coordinator and Music Department members regarding student progress and attainment.
