Join Nova Scotia Power as a Power Engineer in Trenton, Nova Scotia, where safety and operational efficiency are paramount. This full-time role involves managing high-pressure boiler systems and auxiliary equipment.
As a key member of the Power Production team at Trenton Generating Station, you'll be responsible for safely operating high-pressure systems and ensuring compliance with all regulations. You'll also participate in necessary training and uphold the company’s commitment to occupational health and safety. This position includes traveling to various locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate high-pressure boiler turbine units
• Participate in job training programs continuously
• Follow safety rules to ensure a secure environment
• Accept varying assignments across locations
• Maintain compliance with NERC reliability standards
Requirements:
• 2nd Class Power Engineer certification required
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
