Overview
Purpose of the role: Responsible for managing, planning, organizing and coordinating various type of events for the Conference Room and Restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients to find out their exact event requirements
- Plan event from start to finish according to requirements
- Prepare quotes, programmes, floor plan and invoices
- Set up conference room/function venue accordingly
- Coordinate with restaurant manager to ensure event is completed smoothly
- Brief all staff before the event on requirements and set up
- Meet with vendors and clients before and on the day of the event (stakeholder management)
- Research opportunities for new clients and events
- Function reconciliation and feedback/de-brief to Destination manager
- Create and update conference/function/tasting room package
- Responsible for Weekly programme for all brand home bookings
