Opportunity Description
Join AFH Canada as a Fundraising & Outreach Officer in Mississauga, Ontario. This temporary position is designed for students keen on community outreach and strengthening fundraising efforts.
In this role, you'll work under the Director of Fund Development to support mosque fundraising and build relationships with university MSAs across the Greater Toronto Area. You’ll coordinate events, provide administrative support, and help drive AFH's mission through strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Map and engage with MSAs in local universities and colleges
• Assist with mosque fundraising events and community activities
• Act as AFH's representative at outreach events
• Update CRM logs and summarize engagement activities
• Plan and prepare for summer fundraising events
Requirements:
• Must meet Canada Summer Jobs qualifications
• Interest in non-profit fundraising and community service
• Previous experience with student organizations is desirable
