Furnace Operator - 3rd Shift

Summary The Furnace Operator is directly responsible to operate equipment necessary to perform requirements of the furnace. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Responsible for set up and prepare machines according to daily production schedules Prepare equipment and ensure furnace settings are accurate Monitor shift operation of machinery, adjusting settings as necessary Load and unload setups, breakdowns, and operating equipment Operate related equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, and power tools when required Follow router directions along with initial and date all pertinent information required Maintain accurate logs and monitor equipment to ensure it is producing the proper output Perform housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean workplace Use personal protective equipment as required by the job, including but not limited to the wearing of safety vest, gloves, and eye protection Perform duties safely, responsibly, and proficiently, observing and complying with all saf...
