Garment Technician

We currently have an opportunity for a Garment Technician to join our Womenswear Technical team based at our Head Office in South Shields. As Garment Technician, you will oversee the successful development of new styles, from first proto to gold seal approval, ensuring we continue to deliver premium product in line with the business critical path and budget.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the design team and manufacturing base to ensure the on‑time development of women's collections.
• Review new specs and blocks and create size charts before issuing the go‑ahead for new proto requests to be issued.
• Create/maintain seasonal trackers – track, chase, book in development samples (from 1st proto to gold seal).
• Plan and lead weekly fit sessions.
• Measure/review department samples ahead of fit sessions.
