Serco: HMP Thameside, London, SE28 Permanent, Full Time – Monday-Friday 08:00 – 16:30hrs (part of the on call rota1 in 11, with weekly on call payments of £160.00 per designated call week) Up to £37,000 + LWA £6,200 per annum + Benefits Package
What you’ll do as a Plumber / Gas Safe Engineer
You’ll Be Entrusted To
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, repairs, and testing of gas systems and plumbing installations throughout the establishment and cells.
- Diagnose faults and complete defect rectification on plant and equipment
- Install new plant, systems, and equipment as required
- Support colleagues across the maintenance team with wider site activities
- Maintain accurate schedules, records, and reports on work completed
- Investigate equipment performance issues and provide recommendations for improvement
