A Mining client of mine based in the Limpopo Province is looking for GCC Engineer Asset Care: Tailings who has exposure in both electrical & mechanical disciplines in mining. To lead the Tailings team to ensure an effective tailings dam operations and maintenance practices. Evaluate, plan and co-ordinate the implementation of allocated projects according to sound project management principles, Company Code of Practices, standards, specifications and procedures. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•Mechanical Engineering Degree

•Registration as Engineer with ECSA

•Mechanical Government Certificate of Competency - Mines and Works

•5 years as maintenance engineer in the mining sector

•4 years as appointed 2.13.1 engineer

•5 – 8 years’ experience working with tailings dam operations and maintenance
