General Accountant

Seeking a detail oriented General Accountant for a Canadian Manufacturer of garage door and entry door components, for a 3 month, on site temp assignment. This role supports day to day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth month end processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks including posting journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining general ledger accuracy.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
• Assist with month end closings, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
• Support inventory cost accounting, variance tracking, and related reporting.
• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, reports, and documentation for internal review or audit support.
