About the Role

The General Counsel is responsible for leading the organisation’s legal and corporate secretariat functions, providing strategic and operational leadership to safeguard the organisation’s legal, regulatory and corporate governance interests. The General Counsel formulates and communicates strategies to mitigate the organisation’s legal risk exposure and oversees the organisation’s internal investigations, dispute resolution, and litigation matters. The General Counsel also ensures that the department adopts innovative and technological solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency while maintaining compliance with legal requirements.
