General engineering Superintendent

Job Description

A mine based in Mpumalanga is looking for a General Engineering Superintendent to join their team. The appointed person will be responsible for the day to day implementation of plans to manage the Mines’ assets, Resources, and Infrastructure. They will also have to ensure the availability of machinery and equipment and managing resources and people to achieve the production targets. The appointed person will maintain safe work practices and a safe working environment.

Requirements:

•Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (NQF Level 7)

•Relevant Trade Test in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

•Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Engineering Foreman in the Mining Industry

•Safety & Risk Management Course

•Sound Knowledge of Conveyor Belt construction and maintenance

•Sound knowledge of Underground Sub-Stations

•Sound knowledge of Electrical Reticulation Systems
