Immediate Supervisor: Executive Director of Facilities/Director of Buildings and Grounds
Summary: The General Mechanic is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation tasks to support the operational integrity of school facilities. This position ensures all building systems and equipment, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other mechanical components, are maintained at optimal levels. The General Mechanic works independently or as part of a team to ensure repairs are performed efficiently, safely, and in a timely manner to support a safe and functional school environment.
